Bath time for Molly is quite easily her favourite time of the day. She has always been a water baby and I dont think that’s going to change anytime soon! We try to make bath time as fun as possible, we have toys, we have bubbles and we play our bath time playlist. It’s mainly Disney songs if I’m honest!
We use Childs Farm Products for Molly and they are completely cruelty free and Vegan Friendly. Childs Farm were actually awarded the Vegan Trademark from The Vegan Society for 25 of its products in Aug 2018. We have be using Childs Farm products ever since Molly was a Newborn. We started off using the products from their baby range. The Baby Bedtime bubbles was a firm favourite of mine because it smells amazing! It is fragranced with organic tangerine oil and oh my word, I will admit I used this for my own baths many times! I think the smell of these products will now and forever take me back to the early newborn days with Molly. Now that she is almost 10 months old, we have switched over to the non-baby products!
For bath time we use and love a few different things. Liam and I buy the hair and wash combo because its so much easier. They also do massive bottles with a handy dispenser top! We tend to go for the Blackberry and Organic apple or the Organic sweet orange scents. So yummy! However, The MIL got the Childs Farm strawberry and organic mint Shampoo and holy moley I could smell my kids head forever after using this stuff! We also use the organic tangerine Bubble Bath for loads of super soft bubbles! When taking photos, we’d actually run out – that’s how much it gets used!
Childs farm bath products cleans without striping the skin of it’s natural oils. They say on their website that they are Dermatologist and paediatrician approved and suitable for sensitive and also eczema-prone skin. I can wholeheartedly agree with this,as Molly has sensitive skin and so far so good!
During bath time we have an array of bath toys! Molly was gifted some Disney Stacking cups by a work college of mine and LOVES them, as well as her set of 3 boats. I also got 2 bath books from Aldi and she loves to read them and point at the different animals. I think once she gets a little older, we will invest in a few more bath toys, but for now, shes more than happy with these!
Molly has 8 teeth. 4 on the top and 4 on the bottom. This means oral care is vital for her little toothie pegs! We brush twice daily and use a manual toothbrush, but then the wonderful people over at Colgate kindly sent us a Minion Electric kids toothbrush. I know shes a little young for an electric toothbrush, we agree and dont turn it on, but she loves it because it speaks and makes noises! Highly recommend for any parent who has a battle at tooth brushing time!
We like to follow up bath time with the grapefruit & organic tea tree oil moisturiser. It’s a wonderfully hydrating cream that can be used all over the body and on all skin types! I love the smell of tea tree anyway, so this may or may not have been sniffed the whole way around Asda pre-purchase! Yes I got weird looks, no I didn’t care! I tend to use this on my hands after they have been washed post Molly’s nappy change. Its done wonders for my dry ol’mum hands!
