Fathers day 2020 is right around the corner.
This year its going to be a little different thanks to Covid, but that doesn’t mean it should be any less special. I struggle to buy for Liam ( from the girls ) as well as the father figures in my life, my dad, my step dad and my father in law. Why are men just so difficult to buy for? Is it just me that struggles to think of anything, and then rushes around the day or so before? Luckily there are wonderful companies that make choosing something for Fathers day little bit easier, making sure there is something for every type of father.

If you’re looking for a little self care moment for Fathers day, Woodys have a 2 in 1 conditioner and beard oil that would go wonderfully with the balm. Every beard needs some TLC once in a while. Scottish Fine Soaps Company
The Scottish Fine Soaps Company is family owned business of 4 generations, and manufacture 99.5% of their products in Scotland. Men’s Grooming collection is on-trend vintage for serious salubrious satisfaction. Thistle & Black Pepper is a Scottish twist on a men’s classic. Enriched with purifying milk thistle extract it has a rich and woody amber fragrance with notes of citrus, herbs and sea buckthorn.
The smell of the products is subtle. Not overpowering, but strong enough that It lasts. The beard oil doesn’t leave your bead feeling greasy and the moisturiser is cool and calming on the skin, leaving it feeling hydrated ( according to Liam ). This set is the perfect gift for the bearded Fathers out there for Fathers day!
The Body Shop
When it comes to men’s shaving products, The body shop is always my go to. They have a wide variety of products to choose form so there is something for everyone. Liam father loves the White Musk range, and that’s normally our go to, however we decided to go with something a little different this Fathers day.
The Maca Root and Aloe range smells divine. The softening shaving cream and wooden brush come as a set. It lathers really nicely, and thanks to the aloe, it leaves the skin hydrated, smooth and soft. You can also get them the Maca Root & Aloe Post-Shave Water-Gel for after shaving. It is designed to calm the appearance of irritated skin, helping the skin feel more comfortable and look healthier.
Mo By Modibodi
You may have seen we talk about Modibodi and their amazing women’s underwear before. WELL, they now have a men’s range, Mo. You can choose from briefs or boxers in a navy blue or black. They work in exactly the same way as the woman’s undies. The are pee proof, leak proof, protect against sweat and they keep the boys cool – a huge benefit for when it comes to things like fertility. Liam said they are incredibly comfy and are a nice fit without being too tight! The Mo Undies are made out of high tech fabrics that wick away liquid, keeping you dry and odour free. At the end of the day, you just rinse and throw them in the wash.
Wear. Rinse. Wash. Repeat.

Bird Feeders By Henry Bell
If you have been following us for a while now, you ill know that we recently got a plot at our local allotment. You will also know that we are passionate and have a love for nature and wildlife. When Henry Bell got in contact and wanted to send us some of their bird feeders to try, I jumped at the chance to feature them here.
If you have a green fingered, nature loving father figure in your life then these are the perfect gift! The heavy duty seed feeder, (in the photo) as well as the other heavy duty feeders are extremely well made. They are easy to fill and don’t spill out the bird feed everywhere. We put it in the ivy to test out how inviting it would be to the birds, and we had loads of feathered visitors within minutes.
Henry Bell have a wide variety of bird feeders as well as a rang of bird food. They have free standing bird stations, decorative bird feeders, and even nest boxes. There is something to suit every garden. We plan to keep 1 of the feeders here, and the other two at the allotment. We will keep you posted on what birds they attract!
